What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a variety of different topics related to improv. These include performance skills (character, physicality, reaction, etc.), form specialties, hosting skills, musical improv, applied improv, and more! If you have a passion for it, that is what we want to offer to fellow performers and the community. We welcome workshops that are for beginning, intermediate, and/or advanced improvisers.
We do offer a beginner basics workshop to the community every year for free. If you have a passion for working with beginners, feel free to submit specifically for that workshop! Saturday, 10AM - 12PM on the Mainstage. (Compensation still included)
Have more than one idea of a workshop? Feel free to include up to 3 workshop ideas for us to consider. Each teacher selected will only teach on of the workshops!

Evaluation Process
We have a committee who will review submissions. The team has traveled across the United States attending festivals and workshops. We are looking for engaging and inclusive teaching approaches that are uplifting for our participants.
Submissions are accepted from August 1st - September 7th. All submissions whether accepted or not will receive notification of our decision by September 14th. Instructors are to confirm attendance by September 25th.
Please understand that we receive many valuable and worthwhile submissions but only 5-7 instructors are selected. Even if not selected to teach, feel free to fill out a performance submission for the year!
Compensation
Thanks to the generosity of the Bistline Foundation we are able to pay each instructor $500 for teaching the workshop. Additionally, any non-Comedy Project workshop attendees' fees will go directly to the instructor.
If selected, we will be sure to include you in any mash-ups, challenges, etc. Additionally, if you are part of a team planning to submit, you will receive priority consideration for you and the members of your group.
Please see the submission form for all the details about contractual obligations related to teaching that align with our grant!
Thank you again for your consideration!
